Do I need an MIB account to get a MIB Visa Card ?
Yes , you need to be a MIB customer to get an VISA Card.

How do I apply for a MIB Visa Card ?
You can simply fill an application form and apply to any MIB branch across the country.

Can I deduct from other local banks ATMs ?
Yes you can, usage of other banks ATM machines may incur an additional charge.

Can I use local POS machines free of charge ?
Yes, you can use any local POS machines anywhere in Maldives free of charge.

Can I do international transactions using MIB VISA card.
Not at the moment. However we will reconsider this once the current economic situation changes.

What are the limits of my card ?
The following limits are for VISA Gold Debit also known as everyday Card.
POS - Daily MVR 100,000 Monthly MVR 300,000, and Per transaction MVR 100,000
Touch to pay (contactless) - Daily 1000, Monthly MVR 30,000 and Per Transaction MVR750
E-commerce - Daily MVR 15,000 , Monthly MVR 50,000 and Per Transaction MVR 10,000
